Today started out like yesterday. We hung out and started with Daniel Tiger. Then the kids wanted to skip recess and go straight to centers.
C went to town cutting.

S was having fun tracing letters in a writing workbook.
This center is telling time and math. Please don't mind my travelling coffee mug.
This center was shapes and patterns. We didn't get to this one or the time and math one, so they will probably come back tomorrow. We also had pbskids.org as a center.
I thought I'd take the opportunity to show off a bit more of our set up. In the top picture we have our daily number, letter, and word; in the bottom picture we have our home-school rules. I should probably underline the #3 rule.
C got to the reading center. We have blocks with words that they can put together to make sentences. He made a sentence that says, "Dog can toot." Very funny.
D was off doing her own thing.
Then we went out for recess before lunch. We went out front where there are no toys so that they can focus more on running and imagination play.
They were picking flowers for Mommy.
Then they were playing dinosaurs, and C was leading the other two herbivores around with a leaf on a stick.
Then it was back inside for lunch.
Here is their lunch. Kiwi fruit, tomatoes, sugar snap peas, red pepper sticks, broccoli, and dino nuggets.

Story time during lunch was chapter 7 in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe.
Then it was off to rest time.
After a good half-ish hour of "sleep" (note the quotes), we went to the library.
Ended up bringing home about 30 items. We are library super users. The kids usually get 10 books at least. I usually have at least 10 requests waiting. I let them each pick out a movie or two as well. Then there are all the online resources as well. We are big nerds. My wife and I stay up late on Fridays to make sure we are some of the first people to review the Wowbrary email for new items. Wowbrary is great.
We got home and they cleaned their rooms and the living room, so now they get to watch Wild Kratts, and then Electric Company. So that was our day! Tomorrow I will add on the Circle Time, Life lessons, and Recess after Lunch. Hopefully it goes as well as today.
Oh, and I changed the settings on my phone so pictures should be less orange from now on!
